A Village Christmas Christmas Cards - Set of 6
Share the charm of a snowy village Christmas with this set of six art Christmas cards, reproduced from my original painting. A Village Christmas features curious sheep in a snow-covered field beside the village church, with falling snow and a bright moon against a deep blue sky.
This painting was inspired by a country walk in my village in the depths of winter. I noticed how the sheep’s woolly coats no longer looked white against the brilliant snow. Those soft, warm colours became a lovely contrast to the blue of the winter sky.
A warm glow from the church windows suggests a congregation gathering to sing Christmas carols. It’s a scene full of the quiet magic of a traditional countryside Christmas, ready to share with friends and family who love village life, sheep and snowy winter landscapes.
